I have met many authors and poets at book signings and coffee houses. Most tend to be fairly conceited, pretentious, and rude. However, I had the privilege of speaking to the author of "Vision". He was extremely humble. His passion for his work and words was infectious enough for me to buy his book. I was amazed at how visual his words are and how easily I (and others I have shared poems with), were able to transport me to the moment he has painted with words. As a customer for a 1st time poet I was really impressed with Mr. Golod's work. Yes, it is dark and his pain surely resonates off the pages. However, it is his pain that is something I and anyone can experience along with him and in the end hopefully heal ourselves...

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions, one you will want to cut line a ride again and again. The play on words is mesmerizing for it causes you to ponder the true meaning behind some of his works, yet others are so straight forward, which could cause you to question the authors intention of such poetry. At many points you feel pity and embarrassment for the writer and other times you feel great love tangled with sorrow, all in all a definite book worth buying and keeping!
